Internship Opportunities

"From A Writer's POV" is looking to bring a team on to our site. We are currently looking to fill several intern openings for writers looking to gain a little experience and to work in a field they love.
We are looking for dedicated people who will make time to work with us and treat this intern position as though it was a real, full-time, paying job. If the person gives good work, we are willing to write great recommendations for that person and help them further their career after their time with From A Writer's POV.
We have a few jobs listed below. Please read them thoroughly and respond accordingly. We look forward to hearing from you!

The Writer's Lounge

Today we are annoucing our winner of last weeks theme on The Writer's Lounge. Our theme was "The Villian" The winner of this theme is Dwight (Dazz). The name of his writing is:
"Betrayed"
Read his writing here and leave a comment.

Reggies head was pounding unmercifully. His mind couldn’t accept that which his eyes told him was true and it fought hard against it. He felt beaten as his gaze traveled across his well organized desk and into the face of the man sitting on the other side. Up until this moment they had been the best of friends. For over twenty years they had went through hell and high water together and for each other. They were different in so many ways but it was what they had in common that kept them as close as they had been all these years. He couldn’t fathom when or how all of that had changed but the poorly copied documents he held in his hand said that it had. It had changed drastically.
“Mike!?” he said painfully. “You serious?”
“Don’t Mike me man.” His one time friend spit with disgust. “Just tell me what you gonna do.”
“Aint too much I can do but you got to tell me why?”
“Why? Huh! ‘Cause I’m sick of being treated and looked at like I’m yo’ sidekick or sumpthin’. Always hangin’ at the back door of whatever you got goin’ on. I’ve always been better than you at everything you can think of. We made the same choices and did the same things as long as we’ve known each other but my life is crap and you ended up with all of this!” His anger overtook him as he suddenly stood and gestured with both hands as if he was about to conduct some unseen orchestra. “And I’m sick of it!”
Reggie tossed the case file from another life on his desk. It was a charge that the judge saw fit to dismiss with prejudice and ordered sealed. How mike got it he could only imagine. Someone was using his friend to get to him. “You being played man.”
Mike swiped the desk, knocking half of the neatly stacked papers to the floor. “Aint nobody playin’ me! That’s the problem! You and everybody we know thinks I’m the stupid one but what you gonna do when your wife and kids find out about this crap here!?” A shaking finger jabbed repeatedly at the document that remained on the desk. “What yo kids gonna think about they daddy then!?”
He could see that mike was scared, confused and, as usual, high as a kite. They both shared a high at one time or another in their advanced youth but there came a time when Reggie realized,‘Enough was enough!’ Mike never came to that realization.
Reggie was beaten. “And $100,000 is gonna be enough?” He seriously doubted that. This was just the beginning.
Mike strolled to the door and turned, flashing an evil smile. “The money is a bonus. It aint about the money. It’s about knocking you off that pedestal you think you built by yo’self. Call me when you got it.”
The slamming door seemed to echo forever.
