How important is the cover?

The cover is very important. It's what gets the attention of your readers. It's important to make sure that you get a professional to create your cover or get someone with graphic design experience to create your cover. If yo uhave the experience then go ahead and make it work. Just make sure that you know what you're doing.


Be sure that the cover of the book explains a little bit of what the book may be about.


Be sure that the colors go together, make sure it's not misleading and make sure it's well put together.


It's best that title of the book and your name as the author is on the spine of the book as well. Most people store their books this way and it's easier to read and find.


The back of the book is important as well. It needs to consist of the author bio and short synopsis of the book. The cover of the book and the short synopsis is what will sell your book.
